CFA Studies Professional Development Website
The Problem

CFA Studies needed a modern digital presence that could communicate the institution's credibility, programmes and African leadership focus more effectively. The website needed to move beyond a basic institutional presentation and create a polished experience capable of serving executives, professionals, organisations and institutional partners.

Our Solution

We designed and developed a premium institutional website centred around leadership, governance, innovation and capacity building. The experience uses clear information architecture, strong editorial typography, structured programme presentation, founder storytelling, institutional credibility, impact sections and global positioning to give CFA Studies a more authoritative digital presence.

Overview

CFA Studies is the public identity of Conference for Africa Studies Ltd, a professional development and capacity-building institution based in Lagos, Nigeria. Established in 2006, the institution focuses on developing leaders, strengthening institutions and advancing Africa.

The project was focused on creating a modern digital platform that communicates this positioning with greater clarity, authority and visual sophistication.

The Challenge

The website needed to represent an institution operating across leadership development, governance, management, innovation and institutional capacity building.

The challenge was not simply to present information, but to establish a digital identity that feels credible to executives, professionals, organisations and institutional stakeholders while maintaining a distinctly African perspective.

The Approach

The website was structured around the core areas of CFA Studies:

  • Leadership

  • Governance

  • Innovation

  • Executive development

  • Management

  • Capacity building

  • Institutional development

The information architecture separates the institution, learning programmes, impact, insights, events and contact pathways, making the platform easier to navigate while giving each area a clear purpose. CFA Studies

Visual Direction

The design takes an editorial and institutional approach rather than relying on conventional corporate website patterns.

Large typography, strong spacing, restrained layouts and carefully structured content create a premium presentation while keeping the focus on the institution and its work.

The homepage leads with the central positioning:

Developing leaders. Strengthening institutions. Advancing Africa.

This becomes the foundation for the entire experience. CFA Studies

Programme Experience

The platform presents structured learning across leadership development, governance, management, capacity building, human resource development, business strategy, change management, performance management, communication and industry-specific training. CFA Studies

This creates a clearer pathway for visitors to understand what CFA Studies offers and identify the areas most relevant to their professional or organisational needs.

Institutional Credibility

A dedicated institutional record section communicates publicly documented relationships and records, including references to the Centre for Management Development, United Nations vendor registration and National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies programme collaboration. These are presented as institutional records rather than endorsements. CFA Studies

Outcome

The resulting website gives CFA Studies a stronger digital platform for communicating its institutional identity, programmes, leadership philosophy and impact.

It positions the organisation not simply as a training provider, but as an institution focused on developing people and strengthening the organisations they serve.
